Conference Week: Web 2.0, Widget Summit, Mobile 2.0, Pop!Tech

This could turn out to be one of the busiest weeks on the conference circuit. Here are three conferences that I plan to attend.

  • Mobile 2.0, October 15: where mobile applications are going?
  • Niall Kennedy’s Widget Summit 2007, October 15-16: making sense of the widget economy. (Great line up.)
  • Web 2.0 Summit, October 17-19: where it all started. I am moderating a panel on online video at the event and will be in the general vicinity for most of the time, in case you want to say hello.
  • API Conference, October 15: Its all about the APIs

One event I would like to attend, but won’t be able to is Pop!Tech (October 17-20, 2007). The good news is that they are streaming it live on the web. You can sign-up here to watch it.

I also wanted to take a minute to point out that putting a conference is a lot of work, and I have a lot of admiration for folks who are organizing these four events. I say that from a personal experience, it is a stressful and often an impossible juggling act. Good luck guys!
