rails-on-eclipse
I know Railers don’t generally use Eclipse. But I have yet to find something like Mylyn in other tools and I’m kind of hooked on Mylyn and feel lost without it. So, I’m starting this page so that people can share Eclipse+Rails experiences.
My setup is currently to use Eclipse with the Aptana Studio plugin and “RadRails”: http://aptana.com/rails I would prefer to use something more lightweight. Aptana is quite heavy. But they have assimilated the Rails Development Tools (RDT) plugin so there seems to be few alternatives. Eclipse Dynamic Languages Toolkit seems to be too experimental. Anyone who has experience with Rails development using DLTK? Please share!
I also have a private repo on Github But I can’t get the Git plugin for Eclipse to work with it. Public repos works fine. Anyone who has got EGit to work with private Github repos?
