CIM

CIM is an ontology created at Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) to model Enterprise Resources. It is part of many initiatives in this space, such as Web Based Enterprise Management (WBEM)

CIM Schemas can be found modeled as MOF or a custom XML format ( http://www.dmtf.org/standards/cim/)

OpenWBEM

OpenWBEM is a C++ implementation of a CIM Object Manager (CIMOM) and WBEM client APIs.

It is implemented in accordance with the CIM and WBEM specifications published by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF).

Pegasus is an implementation of a Common Information Model, to help enterprises better manage their resources. It is web based, and is built on many open standards for both modeling and managing corporate resources.
