GlassFish v2.1 build 40 has been promoted

GlassFish Promoted Build v2.1 build 40 is available.

This promoted build provides necessary infrastructure support for the SailFin Application Server (Telco app server). This release also contains fixes that did not make it into GlassFish V2 Update Release. Please refer to the GlassFish V2.1 Wiki Page for details on improvements that are going into this release.

The weekly promoted builds of GlassFish have passed a minimum level of testing. which includes the quicklook tests, a sub-set of CTS tests (representative collection of 418 J2EE 1.4 tests) and a sub-set of SQE tests (22 in number). GlassFish v2 Update 2 has been released.

GlassFish v2 Update Release 2 was released today 4/28/2008.

The final build from the UR2 branch is b04 which has been undergoing final testing cycles for the past weeks.

We take this opportunity to thank the community of users and developers who gave us invaluable feedback to prioritize improvements for this release.

The release is also coordinated with the release of Java EE SDK Update 5 which contains the Sun branded Sun Java System Application Server 9.1 Update 2 release (essentially GlassFish v2 ur2).

GlassFish v2.1 build 24b has been promoted

GlassFish Promoted Build v2.1 build 24b is available.

This promoted build provides necessary infrastructure support for the SailFin Application Server (Telco app server). This release also contains fixes that did not make it into GlassFish V2 Update Release. Please refer to the GlassFish V2.1 Wiki Page for details on improvements that are going into this release.

The weekly promoted builds of GlassFish have passed a minimum level of testing. which includes the quicklook tests, a sub-set of CTS tests (representative collection of 418 J2EE 1.4 tests) and a sub-set of SQE tests (22 in number). A build is not promoted unless it passes quicklook, CTS smoke and SQE smoke tests.
