Wonderful video tutorial (screencast) on how to quickly create a JSF web application with database persistence in the NetBeans IDE. Demo is carried out on NetBeans 6.1 and looks pretty easy. NetBeans 6.5, the presenter says, makes the work even easier due to: NetBeans 6.5 coming with Hibernate plugin already included in the IDE and a reverse-engineering feature that lets developer suck in an existing database's schema metadata, and automatically generate the POJO's (.java) and Hibernate mapping files (.hbm) needed for object persistence.
Develop and deploy Web applications with unprecedented ease. Whether you are using Ajax, PHP, or Ruby on Rails, and targeting Web browsers, desktop clients like Adobe AIR, or mobile devices such as the iPhone, Aptana offers it all, end to end.
