Tuning the Losmandy G11

Some notes on tweaking the Losmandy G11 with respect to backlash, periodic error and other properties. My hope is that the mechanicals of the GM-8 are similar enough to those of the G11 that these ideas can be borrowed with adaptation for that mount.

Disassembling the Losmandy G11

Disassembly instructions for taking apart the Losmandy G11. The GM-8 is similar enough that many of these pointers should apply to it as well. I'm hoping that my bizarre binding and slewing issues are due to something as simple as the grease in my three year old mount having gone south.
