MyFaces is an open source Java Server Faces implementation.

Java Server Faces (JSF)) is a new MVC technology for J2EE and was implemented as JSR-127. The goal is to simplify user interface development for Java server applications. JSF is a server side component based system, that is similar in concept to ASP.NET. Components are wire up as tree, and are responsible for rendering, handling client side events and connecting to data sources.
