This is still a work in progress, but it has the buttons I use the most. I may move buttons around depending on what feels comfortable and since it is completely customizable, it is easy to do.
Quick Links at the top take me to:
Home - Recorded TV - Internet Streams - Music - Photos
The Pound symbol goes to a separate page that contains the numbers 0-9.
This is a web based program using TelNet to run commands so I don't have to point this remote in any particular direction. Template for this came from a online blogger named Kyle:

Updated innards. I added a second 160GB hard drive to store the OS (Ubuntu) and static media files (my music).

Hey talkie, What were you doing at one in the morning last night?
Well, tim, I was working on three computers in parallel trying to complete a project for my girlfriend.
You're crazy talkie, real crazy.

I built this wooden computer case in about 3 months, in-between work and school. It's entirely built with hand tools, with lots of work making up for the lack of fancy shop machinery. Construction materials: birch plywood sides covered in sapele veneer, with basswood square dowels on the interior for support. Interior standoffs can hold any micro-atx motherboard, and there are mounting areas for a standard atx power supply, a normal CD/DVD drive, and a 3.5" hard drive. Finished with Minwax Helmsmen high gloss.
The computer parts were mostly leftover from old builds. I bought quiet case and cpu fans to reduce the noise transmitted by the wood. Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 LE
Hauppauge WinTV PVR-150 MCE
Foxconn 6150BK8MC-KRSH motherboard
1 GB DDR PC3200 ram
80 GB Seagate HD
some old 4x dvd burner
Ultra X-Finity 600 watt power supply (free after rebate from frys)
I've been using this thing as a pvr box, trying out various software and operating systems. Currently using mythbuntu.
