Programming to the Pattern, and What Really Makes One Framework Different From Another
All JavaScript frameworks cover the basics, and have a lot of the same functionality just exposed in a different api. But at the lower levels frameworks have particular goals and differing styles in pursuit of those goals.
Programming to the pattern is an important consideration, regardless of framework choice (though some make this easier than others). Also worth noting that Mootools is a relative of Prototype.
