When a website is young, going through and checking that all the links work is an easy task. For a site with a lot of content, such as a blog, this can be a huge hassle. Luckily, W3C has a free link-checking tool which checks the links for you. This is a great tool for finding any dead links. Of course, it won’t be able to tell if what you meant to link to is still there (the content of the page might have changed).
