Here’s a new way to skate down the gravel road with the Dirtsurfer, a hybrid surfing system consisting of skateboard and bicycle wheels flopped together.
It looks promising and fun but I am not sure if I am inclined to wear all that safety gear just to get on one.
The Freestyle Dirtsurfer features all the upgrades of the Flexi-Pro on a shorter length frame and smaller
16″ tires. The reduction in size allows for a lighter board that is more maneuverable so you can pull off
the biggest tricks imaginable! This board skates extremely well, but can still tackle the rough terrain.

Here’s a really cool trike that I’d love to get my hands on, similar to the wheelchair accessible motorcycle.
It has a fiberglass body, air ride suspension, a 24 inch front wheel and automotive wheels and tires out back. It’s designed to fit anyone from 5 foot even all the way up to 6 foot 4 inches which, I would imagine, covers the majority of riders .

If you ride in the rain, we don’t recommend the DIY Cardboard bicycle that costs $30 to make but if you do live in a hot country, this cardboard bicycle might save you some dollars and help re-use some of that leftover cardboard.

The frame, made out of cardboard normally used in industrial packaging, could be produced for as little as £3.
Once the wheels and chain had been added the total price might rise to only £15.

It’s probably impossible to ride on but still, it looks way futuristic.
I don’t know if the Speed Racer will ever go into production, but for a design with the balls to take elements from three iconic franchises (maybe four if you count TRON), the bike holds up well.

Here’s an interesting RocketShield, that will protect you from rain on your bad weather commutes. Personally, I would never spend money on something like this but there’s should be plenty people who might be in need of this.
For the record, this shield does seem to have aero-dynamic effects so you don’t have to crouch down going at higher speeds. Maybe the racers might start pickin’ up on this.

The most frequent question I’m asked by people analyzing this never seen before spectacle on wheels is, “What’s that for?”
After riding with this canopy on for over a month now in all different types of weather and road conditions, I can finally wrap up all of my answers into one word…..”Comfort”.With my Rocketshields canopy, I no longer have to wear a full face helmet that squishes my fat cheeks, fogs up when its too cold or too hot, impairs my peripheral vision and hearing, and makes my head smell like a sweaty sock. I now sport a skateboard style motorcycle skid lid without having to wear sunglasses or goggles. Even at high speeds, the turbulence felt and heard is equal to that of driving a car with both windows rolled down.

Here’s an interesting cargo bike that can carry your children to school instead of guzzling your 4×4 SUV.
The popularity of the machines is likely to have been boosted by Richmond raising the cost of a parking permit for a large-engined “gas guzzler” to £150. It is also considering charging £75 for an annual permit to drop children off at school by car.
Tony Juniper, director of Friends of the Earth, said he had bought his wife a cargo bike for Christmas: ‘We’ve been trying to cut down on car use and this is perfect for shopping and carrying heavier goods. We even take our youngest to chess matches.’
