Compiz Fusion is an extension of the Compiz compositing window manager for the X Window System. It was created from the remerging of Beryl into Compiz. It aims to port almost all of the features of Beryl that are not in Compiz and to continue development of add-ons to Compiz. The distribution is included by default in Fedora-Core.

The first stable release of Compiz Fusion was announced in October 2007 as release 0.6.

CompizConfig Settings Manager and libcompizconfig are examples of add-ons provided by Compiz-Fusion.
