Hey.
When I try and drag and drop in a picture into illy, I always get this message:
Quote:
QuickTime and a decompressor
are needed to see this picture.
The last thing I was trying to drop in was a color palette from COLOURlovers.
Anyone know why I'm getting this?
Is there something I need to download or activate or something? I do have QuickTime, so I'm just a bit confused. And where would I get a decompressor?
I'm on a Macbook w/ Leopard.
Thanks.

Short article from 37signals that talks about using model dialog boxes as part of a web design. They make the point that not all model dialogs are bad and can even be used in different situations to actually improve visual interest and depth and simply navigation.

So, I'm finally getting to the point where I'm getting a loose handle on CSS. My website still in its rough stages, but it's starting to take shape. I'm experimenting with things more than anything. Trial and error, for me at least, is the best way to learn.
Anyway, can someone here teach me how to make a column transparent?
The elements and principles of design are two distinct categories of theories, building blocks and practices that make up the discipline of design. They give us a common language so that we can effectively discuss and critique designs. They also aid us in the design process because the principles and elements of design give us a guide or a standard to reference when we feel our design is lacking. I have a sticky note that I keep tacked up next to my monitor that lists the elements and principles and two questions: * How do each affect the mood? * How do each contribute to the message and the delivery of that message?
I'm having problems with an HTML email letter that I'm creating. I'm use to doing great stuff with CSS, but now people want these creations to appear in a email newsletter.
I have made a design that will work, hardcoded with no CSS styling. It would work perfectly if I cold get rid of the borders of the tablets. I have given them a border="0", and the only thing that will do is make them transparent, but the space is still there.
So My question is, how to I get rid of the spaces that the borders make?
Hy guys,
I need to prepare for print some envelopes that need to have an address and a space for stamp. Question: how big is the space for stamp in US?
