Gestikk

gestikk is an application for nearly all netwm-conform windowmanagers (written in Python) that recognizes predefined mouse gestures and executes defined actions. For example, with gesture “down – left” you could run Firefox or simulate the keyboard shotcut

which restarts the grahpical user interface (better: The Xserver). There are also included some usefull features like showing the gesture on the screen while drawing it and notifications when it has been recognized by gestikk (as a balloontip or as on screen display (OSD).
