So my plan is to have a different background color for the header than the background color for the body. The background color for the header pretty much encompasses everything I want it to encompass EXCEPT between the logo and the navigation there's a small gap of space that has the background color for the body instead of the background color for the header.

So I tried making a little spacer bar with the background color of the header in Paint Shop Pro to see if it would fill the gap, but it only made it look worse. So I'm not sure how to go about filling up that space so the entire header looks unified in one background color.

One of my interactive design projects, a video microsite for the UK band Spiritualized, was recently selected as Communication Arts’ webpick of the day. The site acts as a retrospective for the band as well as a promotion for their new album, tour and video. The main objective of this project was to introduce their music to a younger audience while providing an online experience for their die-hard fans to enjoy as well.

Lately I have been screwing around with symmetrical based work, and I have a week of free time to do some art that doesn't pertain to school before classes start. Recent artists that have inspired me: Anthony Lister, and Black Dice's, Bjorn Copeland. This is going to be 7' by 5' print to fill my wall. This is just the first rough photoshop sketch, but I like the use of sketchy line work against blocky and definite shapes. I like working abstractly, Give me your criticism.

I am so stuck on this design. The client wants to include their new logo (ENSYNC), as well as the logo of the product they implement (IFS) on a email newsletter campaign. Basically I just want some pointers, thoughts, critique and general good practice tips please.
