The fact that people will download and buy a physical copy of NiN proves that you not only have to be hot but you have to be ground breaking to survive in the music industry. Death To Music Business Rise To The Artist Business.

Pandora Meet Zetrax

I might be late but i just discovered a new site online via Twitter Called Zetrax.

I figured its pretty new there is now traffic status at all and since i found it “tracking Music” on twitter i thought i might of been late because this gets many request about music.

The way Zetrax Works is very simple, You search for artist or tracks and you get to listen to it for free. I didn’t see any down loading option but they do have a playlist feature. It is similar to Pandora in the sense that you get to listen to whole songs but after that it. Zetrax is a lot more on demand with your search and just strait to the music Its worth giving it a try if your looking for something new to do.

‘Baddest’ Of The Bad

Here We GoImage from WikipediaTrina is notorious for her provocative, sex-filled lyrics, but it seems her mainstream fan base likes her best when she's engaging in less dirty talk and more personal chit chat. Like 2005's relationship-driven, Kelly Rowland-assisted "Here We Go," which peaked at a career-best No. 8 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, her latest single about a troubled breakup is proving an early fan favorite.

"Single Again," from the Miami rapstress' Slip-N-Slide album "Still Da Baddest" (due this week), was the top debut at No. 24 during the first week of January on Hot Rap Songs. "This album is uptempo, but it's also a little melodic, emotional and personal," Trina says. "I didn't want to be drowned out or sad, I just wanted to be happy and up-spirited, so I can show my fans Trina has really grown up." Related articles

First “Machine Listening” API To Hear Music and Know What it is.

“Machine Listening” is the idea that computers can be programmed to interpret audio signals the same way humans do. This means that they can tell when a song belongs to the blues genre rather than techno. And they can detect musical characteristics like tempos, transition types, and harmonies.

The technology has some obvious practical uses. It could be used to compile collections of music with the same sound or with similarities to the music someone already knows they like. Applications could also be designed to create the perfect mixtapes, with songs picked and ordered in just the right ways.
