Sparc64 boots SMP on Enterprise 3500 models.

After some hard work, mainly by Mark Kettenis, the sparc64 platform adds Enterprise 3500 to the list of supported machines when running SMP kernels. Now that SMP works better on sparc64, the success reports on some of the bigger systems are coming in. This is a taste of what OpenBSD 4.3 will bring to all sparc64 fans.
