Was messing around with the latest release of kubuntu. Booted up the live cd and was imediatly treated to my powermac's fans spinning up to hurricane level...that was expected..but no matter what I tried I couldnt get the internet to work..airport or straight up ethernet. Reading up on the forums there are lots of bugs and general woes with this release granted they were mostly from apt-get upgrades but I think I will just hold off for a bit. Besides OS X is why I switched from linux in the first place...that still make me a "switcher" ?

Bad advertising for Adobe & Macromedia. My browser is my renderer. So now I need a renderer in my renderer. And if it fails, you look stupid.
Got a reply back from Chumby. It uses the FlashLite 2 player. No luck. Might try my hand at seeing if openlaslo will work on flashlite. If only I could get my hands on a FlashLite player.
Susan Kare works for Chumby.

Do one thing, one thing well
Delicious is so slow rendering. It was once lean, mean & fast to use & load.
I used to think it was my machine, browser or network connection. Get the same response (or lack of) regardless of location, network or machine.
What's the story with pictures? Now it takes even longer.

When uploading an image from a camera, the weakest link in the chain is ... the battery.
This is F-Spot.
Was going to upload my usual 3 pics per day but I couldn't so you can look at some error screens instead. I must fix this.
